Designed by Henri d’Origny and launched in 1991, the Cape Cod watch unveiled a distinctively bold “square within a rectangle” shape.
Vividly embodying a free-spirited, joyful approach to time, it was inspired by the anchor-chain link.
Cape Cod appears in a revisited version true to its creative heritage and in which its sporty nature meets a resolutely contemporary aesthetic. The distinctive 41 mm titanium case is satin- finished on top, with beadblasted sides.
This dynamic style is enhanced by a black dial featuring a subtle interplay of finishes: a sandblasted centre catches the light, whilst a satin-finished and brushed outer ring accentuates its depth. The rhodium-plated Arabic numerals and baton-type hands enhanced with Super-LumiNova® ensure optimal readability by day or night, while an orange seconds hand adds a vibrant, sunny touch.
Water-resistant to 10 bar, this model houses the Manufacture Hermès H1912 self-winding movement driving the hours, minutes and seconds hands as well as a date display at 6 o’clock. The rubber straps in jaune de Naples, orange, bleu abysse or black versions complement its relaxed spirit while echoing the call of the open sea.
