Zenith defies gravity with two new Zero G models in limited edition

To celebrate its 160th anniversary, Zenith takes its Defy collection to new heights with two ultra-limited sapphire editions, each restricted to ten pieces. Staying true to its innovative spirit, the Maison du Locle showcases the El Primero caliber with its ingenious Zero G “Gravity Control” module, inspired by marine chronometers. These masterpieces combine transparency, precision, and modernity, featuring a lapis-lazuli dial and a highly technical skeletonized architecture. With these creations, Zenith reaffirms its role as a pioneer in haute horlogerie, blending tradition, mechanical excellence, and avant-garde aesthetics.

The Mechanical Walks of L’Épée

Now under LVMH, L’Épée reissues six of its iconic creations in collaboration with various artists, transforming its renowned mechanical clocks into true kinetic sculptures. Presented at the Geneva Watch Days, this bold artistic approach brings the manufacture closer to the world of contemporary art. Each piece is available in both a series version and a unique edition, freely interpreted by its creator. Notable works include The Phoenix Eternis Ignis by Vincent Calabrese, a vibrant homage to his career. Other pieces, inspired by automobiles, showcase a raw yet poetic aesthetic, reflecting L’Épée’s avant-garde, neo-artistic vision.

What to think of Trilobe’s Le Temps Retrouvé? We still don’t know

Trilobe’s Le Temps Retrouvé is an unclassifiable horological work, blending art, mechanics, and poetry. A GPHG finalist, this “breathing” creation reinvents the very notion of time: without hands, hours are shown by moving rosettes and minutes by the rotation of a pupil. Neither watch nor automaton, it blurs the line between living being and machine. A true sensory experience, it even diffuses a fragrance in sync with its mechanical breath. More than a timepiece, it is an emotional abstraction, a sculpture of time that defies traditional watchmaking codes and categories.
