The first meeting between H. Moser & Cie. co-owners Edouard and Bertrand Meylan and Saquon Barkley did not take place in a boardroom or at an event. It happened at his home, surrounded by his family. “I’ve always been drawn to skeleton watches. I love being able to see the complexity of the movement, while the watch itself can still feel incredibly pure and understated. What I particularly like about this piece is how the aventurine dial stands out against the skeletonized movement. It catches your eye, and yet never feels ostentatious. That balance is exactly what I was looking for. Working with Moser felt very natural because they really listened to what mattered to me and gave me the freedom to make the design my own. I think the result reflects both their world and mine,” says Saquon Barkley.

The fully skeletonised three-dimensional architecture reveals the movement in all its complexity, while the aventurine subdial appears to float above the mechanics like a window opening onto a star-filled sky.
At its heart beats the HMC 811 manufacture calibre, driven by a cylindrical hairspring tourbillon. Entirely handcrafted by the specialists at Precision Engineering AG, the cylindrical hairspring perpetuates an exceptionally rare savoir-faire.
