Three new colours that evoke the landscapes and light of the Mediterranean enrich the Longines DolceVita collection with striking flinqué dials, Art Deco geometric patterns and a warm palette of leather straps. Inspired by an iconic Longines model from the 1920s and characterised by its refined rectangular case, the line continues to grow while honouring the timeless identity it has cultivated since 1997.

Since its creation nearly three decades ago, the Longines DolceVita collection has been an ode to the Italian ‘sweet life’, warm and luminous, refined and unhurried, like a leisurely afternoon on a sun-dappled terrace or an evening stroll through the streets of Rome. Characterised by its elegant rectangular case and inspired by a timepiece created by Longines in 1927, the line seamlessly blends classic design with contemporary flair. For 2026, three new models bring a fresh sense of depth and movement to the collection, with distinctive animated dials and a richly expressive new colour palette.

Expressive colour and animated dials

The three new colours are presented on richly toned leather straps in midnight blue, olive green and maple red, a palette of warm, evocative hues that echo the landscapes and light of the Mediterranean. Each strap features an interchangeable system, allowing wearers to refresh the look of their watch with ease. A fourth model pairs the silver dial with a stainless-steel bracelet featuring a triple-folding safety clasp and offers the same refined aesthetic with everyday versatility.

The new additions for 2026 place the dial firmly at the centre of attention. Each features an ivory flinqué surface adorned with geometric patterns that create a sense of gentle motion across the face with a subtle quality that gives the watches their distinctive animated character. The signature small seconds subdial, at 6 o’clock, adds a further touch of classic detail.

Three dial variants are available: an ivory gilt version with twelve 2N gilt Roman numerals and matching gilt hands; an ivory rose-gold version with twelve 5N rose Roman numerals and 5N rose hands; and a silver version with twelve blue Roman numerals paired with blued steel hands. All are housed in rectangular stainless-steel cases fitted with a sapphire crystal and water-resistant up to 3 bar (30 metres). Available in two sizes – 20.80 mm × 32.00 mm and 23.30 mm × 37.00 mm, these timepieces are powered by Longines quartz movements L178.2 and L176.2, respectively.

A heritage of harmonious proportions

The DolceVita story began with a rectangular watch created by Longines in 1927. Its clean, balanced lines reflected the prevailing Art Deco sensibility of the era. When the collection was officially launched in 1997, it carried that same spirit of geometric harmony into a contemporary context and has continued to grow ever since, becoming one of the brand’s most iconic lines yet never losing sight of its original identity.

The year 2023 marked a special milestone with the Longines Mini DolceVita joining the family. It brought a new look to the collection through its discrete profile and resolutely elegant, modern pieces, while preserving the characteristic rectangular silhouette unchanged.

Timelessness, redefined

With its balanced proportions, Art Deco heritage and expressive new palette, the Longines DolceVita line continues to celebrate the harmony between tradition and contemporary sophistication. Like the Italian art of living that inspired its name, it is a reminder that true elegance is not bound by time or season. It is, quite simply, an attitude.
