A closer look at the Etheral Twin Orbital Tourbillon

Cyrus and Chronode are a family affair, with the two companies now linked. It’s a rare luxury for an ultra-creative brand to have one of the most gifted movement-makers at its side. Their new brainchild, the Etheral Twin Orbital Tourbillon, is issued in an 18-piece limited edition built around a central platform with two inclined flying tourbillons. The entire structure rotates in 60-minute increments and thus provides a minutes indication by means of the white tip on one of the triangular central bridge arms. Enthroned in the middle is a large hours display whose tens and units are displayed by two pyramids with truncated tops. Unlike the platform, they remain turned the same way, so that they can be read off in the right direction at all times. The entire system took six years to develop.
