Created in 2015, Slim d’Hermès combines rigorous discipline with understated elegance. Its clean-cut lines and angular lugs lend themsel- ves to a new form of creative expres- sion. Housed in a 39.5 mm-diameter titanium or platinum case enhanced by a bezel in corresponding mate- rials, the Slim d’Hermès Squelette Lune reveals an airily structured mechanical movement. Through its openworked dial, light and mat- ter engage in a subtle dialogue. In keeping with the dreamlike dimen- sion of Hermès time, a double moon completes the tableau.
At the heart of this model, the hours, minutes and moon phases are driven by the ultra- thin skeletonised self-winding Manufacture Hermès H1953 movement. The bridges visible through a sapphire crystal case-back echo the shades of the dials. The Slim d’Hermès Squelette Lune comes with a matt alligator or calfskin strap matching the dial and showcasing the House’s leather craftsmanship expertise.
