Everything you need to know about the new releases and watchmaking news of Spring 2026, available for free download as a WorldTempus reader.

Traditionally, spring marks the return of light and the highly anticipated Watches and Wonders show sets the tone for the watchmaking landscape.

Will the industry emerge unscathed from a harsh economic winter, during which most players have been operating at a slower pace? At GMT and WorldTempus, we see that the sap has never stopped flowing beneath the frozen surface. With Watches and Wonders and its parallel events bringing together more than 200 exhibitors, buds are bursting, creative boldness is unfolding, finishes are shining, dials are enchanting, calibers are humming and timepieces are drawing us into their movement. Reflecting this liberating energy, this spring issue has more pages than ever. Creativity, design, inno-vation, prowess and expertise underscore the degree to which watchmakers inspire a phenomenal desire to share. Watch Weeks are popping up around the world, prized by new independent brands eager to meet with enthusiasts. Marking its third edition, our GMT Watch Safari invites aficionados of this ilk to come and discover Manufactures of all sizes during the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève exhibition.

Meanwhile, how are the three major watchmaking groups preparing for this new season, in which hot and cold alternate at a frantic pace? We interviewed the heads of three brands, each representing one of these groups in different positions: Hublot, Longines, and Roger Dubuis. Here too, the thirst for conquest is moving mountains, while not detracting from a certain clear-sightedness. This spring edition pays tribute to all those, both large and small, whose new products are set to dazzle us in 2026. May this year - in which we celebrate the 25th anniversary of our WorldTempus website and conclude with the 100th issue of GMT - be as sweet as springtime!

Because you are a WorldTempus reader, we are delighted to offer you the digital version of this GMT Magazine which you can download here. This version includes a feature on Henri Grandjean & Cie, which is also available here.
