Breguet has won several awards at the GPHG since its inception and your Souscription watch has been nominated this year. What does this mean to you?

The Classique Souscription 2025 is an emblematic timepiece for our Maison, a true tribute to the original model that Abraham-Louis Breguet designed to relaunch his business just after the French Revolution, a watch that is simple in appearance yet ingenious and visionary. Now a true icon, the Souscription represents the unbroken continuity of the Breguet spirit, the ability to transcend the ages by combining simplicity and ingenuity. The 2025 version echoes this spirit with its refined design while standing out with its hand-blued single hand and secret signature engraved using an 18th-century pantograph. It also introduces our very first exclusive alloy, Breguet gold. It perfectly illustrates what we want to celebrate for our 250th anniversary: our founder's ability to innovate in all circumstances as well as our desire to perpetuate this heritage by reinterpreting it for today and tomorrow.
