Interview Breguet - Les Tiroirs du Temps

Join us at the Breguet Boutique in Geneva for a journey through time, celebrating 250 years of innovation, heritage, and horological mastery.

Today, we’re at the Breguet Boutique in Geneva for the opening of a remarkable new exhibition: Les Tiroirs du Temps. This year marks the 250th anniversary of Breguet, founded in 1775 on the Quai de l’Horloge in Paris. It is also a particularly meaningful day in the brand’s history. On June 26th, 1801, Abraham-Louis Breguet was granted the patent for his revolutionary invention: the tourbillon.

To celebrate this milestone, CEO Gregory Kissling unveils the Classique Tourbillon Sidéral, a timepiece that pays tribute to both the mechanical genius of the tourbillon and its original astronomical meaning. With a flying tourbillon cage, mysterious mechanism, and a starry aventurine and enamel dial, the watch reflects Breguet’s continued spirit of invention.

The exhibition invites visitors to explore key moments in the brand’s legacy, starting with a hands-on experience at the Tiroir du Tourbillon. Just rotate the Earth, and let history come alive.
