For the first time in the Pilo & Co Genève range, there's a very much on-trend, sporty model. Within its automatic heart beats a rare old movement; while atop its screw-down crown sit two capital letters, steeped in meaning.
The Corleone, the first of three collections that will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Pilo & Co Genève watchmaking brand in 2011, has symbolic appeal. Symbolic of a youth that has grown in awareness, assertion and self-confidence. The bold square face, with its alert, masculine gaze, despite the overwhelming presence on the wrist and a tendency towards classicism, proudly sports a broad bevel. A promising playground for the fertile imagination of the gem-setter, who, on special request, will delight in filling it with a myriad hand-picked jewels.

The very epitome of Swiss made perfection, the Corleone thus strengthens the DNA behind Pilo & Co. It encases an old ETA 2846 movement obtained from a limited edition of 500 movements crafted well before the brand's creation and now fully revitalised. A metaphor for survival, a nod to a promise-filled future. On the back of the case, a square aperture reveals an oscillating weight adorned with subtle customisations.

The Corleone collection, strengthened DNA
Two models in the collection boast a mother-of-pearl sector, enclosed in a black frame discreetly embellished with tiny minute and second markers. At 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock, two numerals dominate a relief marked by its dolphin-shaped indices, which proudly offer a time-telling of uncomplicated simplicity, boldly enriched by the elegant scrolling day and date feature. The third displays a central sector of intricately woven carbon motifs, whose texture enhances the beauty of the passing hours indicated by Arabic numerals of varying sizes. Cases crafted in stainless steel, treated in black, pink or two-tone PVD, shiny or satin-finish. Dimensions: 3 –9 o'clock version = 39mm, 6-12 o'clock version = 53mm. Curved sapphire crystals. Silicon strap, deployant buckle engraved with Pilo & Co Genève. Screw-down crown struck, as per the brand's origins, with two initials: PW for Pilo Watches. Calibre ETA 2846, from an old batch of movements. Limited edition.

Pilo & Co, Genève watchmaking brand. 10th anniversary.
Constantly updated, open to customisation.
Characterised by a persistent desire to be one step ahead of trends, Pilo & Co Genève has stood out since its creation in 2001 for having mastered the art of combining multiple identities. Eleven collections are devoted to accessibility, design and capturing the mood of the moment. Among the many renowned Swiss made groups, thanks to a good, strong start and controlled expansion, the watchmaking brand just keeps on going from strength to strength. Covering all segments of the industry, it switches seamlessly from mechanical to technological and back again, without once losing its sense of impeccable taste. Little wonder, then, that it is witnessing the arrival of a growing number of clients, all wishing to differentiate themselves by ordering a custom design consistent with their own personality, and often crafted around precious stones and gem-setting techniques. It is also particularly appealing in terms of price bracket, one of the brand's main features.
