The “Baguette” watch symbolizes the rich heritage of Swarovski's crystal expertise. The exceptional piece is fitted with baguette-cut crystals turning this watch into an eye-catching jewel in its own right. The evening accessory has been designed for the elegant, refined woman with a love of wristwatches. Its geometric design, clean lines and cascading facets bend and shape the light via regular and sophisticated prisms.
The square case in polished steel features a simple face delicately illuminated by three miniature crystals and a swan at the top. The base of the galvanic dial features a tone-on-tone effect with a sunray or mother-of-pearl finish, while the sapphire crystal that protects the faceted hands has been treated so as to complete the mirroring effect of sparkling crystal. Other inimitable features include the company's logo beneath an oversized cabochon glass crown and the Swanflower™ engraving on the back of the case.
The jewellery bracelet is made up of 16 identical faceted baguette-cut crystals, playing upon the theme of repetition, infinity and eternity. Each crystal is housed in a polished steel bezel setting, while the steel bracelet offers flexibility and comfort. The clasp features a side-release mechanism. Found throughout the 2009 collection, the Swiss movement incorporated into the watch ensures lasting quality and timekeeping accuracy.
The piece is available with a choice of clear, Jet Hematite or Amethyst-coloured Baguette-cut crystals, as well as a matching coloured dial. The version with gold-tone steel bracelet is particularly eye-catching and sees each “Baguette” transformed into a veritable gold ingot.
