He's back!

French artist seconde/seconde/brings his quirky, humorous touch to the Perrelet Turbine. He has clearly had fun giving a very industrial twist to this iconic model from the Maison.

One might have expected him to tackle the decoration of the dial and its famous blades, but instead he's played on the potential danger of the turbine. No damage done however, quite the opposite. Out goes the central seconds hand, replaced by the logo and the words "Keep Hands Clear".

At the top of the dial, 1777 - the year the Manufacture was founded - has been framed and the words "days since last injury" have been added just below, in reference to the "Safety First" signs. But that's not all. The story of this all-black Turbine continues on the back of the case, with a dedication from the artist: "I truly love art. But it will always come second. Safety first".
