An Ocean of Blue - Audemars Piguet
Focus on the Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon

Rocking the world of luxurious gemstone-set haute horlogerie watches, Audemars Piguet makes an impression with its series of six Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon watches. Introduced in versions that feature a rainbow of gemstones, to a stunning rhapsody of blue sapphires and diamonds, these watches are taking the world by storm. Certain versions boast as many as 468 brilliant-cut diamonds or 208 baguette-cut gems such as rubies, emeralds, sapphires, topazes, amethysts, tanzanites and more. Not only are the watches masterfully set with different combinations of colors and cuts that perfectly capture the light at all angles, but the movements inside are also just as worthy as the sparkle outside.

This Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon in sapphires and diamonds is a perfect example of the six scintillating watches that underscore the brand’s incredible gemsetting prowess. This model is crafted in 18K white gold and is meticulously set with different-sized sapphires that fit seamlessly together in an ocean of blue. It takes more than 150 hours to set the more than 460 stones adorning this model. The dial is beautifully designed to resemble a snowflake motif from the Swiss mountains. It is set with brilliant-cut diamonds, as are certain movement parts. The watch is powered by the openworked hand-wound Caliber 2951 with a flying tourbillon.
