Bulgari unveils its LVMH Watch Week selection this week with a myriad of timepieces that put the Maison’s jewellery savoir-faire at the forefront of its new releases for the beginning of the year. New Divas’ Dream, Serpenti Tubogas infinity, Serpenti Seduttori and Allegra models sparkle in an explosion of colour that will almost make you think that spring has already arrived!
There is nothing that Bulgari enjoys more than celebrating the Roman art of living. Since the 1950s, the Maison has been playing with colour in its jewellery and horological creations to capture this playful Dolce Vita spirit that it holds so dear. Let’s take a closer look at some of the watch highlights from LVMH Watch Week that show how this love for vibrancy, colour, and emotion is as strong as ever.
Bulgari Divas' Dream
Three new models join the Divas’ Dream collection with new gem-set petals that quiver with the movement of the wrist. The first comes in shades of blue with topazes and tanzanite, the second is adorned with mauve amethysts and tourmalines, while the third comes in a deep red with a setting of rubies to celebrate the Chinese New Year. All three models come in a 33 mm rose gold case with a white mother-of-pearl dial, quartz movement, and an alligator strap to match the colour of the gemstones.
Bulgari Divas' Dream Mosaic
Two new opulent and precious editions enhance the Bulgari Divas’ Dream Mosaic line with an array of colours. As a reminder, this iconic fan-shaped pattern recalls the mosaics from the Roman Baths of Caracalla that have been beautifully reinterpreted in this collection. A rose gold version features a subtle sapphire gradient ranging from pale pink to magenta, while the white gold version is adorned with blue sapphires that go from a sky blue colour to a deep azure hue. Both come in a 37 mm size and are powered by the Calibre BVL 191, an automatic Manufacture movement that indicates the hours and minutes.
Serpenti Tubogas Infinity
First unveiled in 1948, the Serpenti Tubogas continues to seduce watch lovers today with its elegant coils that wrap around the wrist. The bracelet is crafted using a complex technique that involves twisting several metres of gold wire together. This new rose gold model offers a bewitching new interpretation of the serpent with a snow setting of diamonds on the dial – or snake head – that continues to slither across the bracelet with diamonds encrusted into the coils. There are two versions – one on a single tour bracelet and the other with a double tour – which are powered by a high-precision quartz movement.
Serpenti Seduttori
The younger Serpenti Seduttori, that was unveiled in 2019, took the magic of the Serpenti Tubogas and fitted it with a more traditional-style bracelet with a folding clasp. The traditional nature of the bracelet stops here, however, as it is made up of links that take the form of the scales of the snake. The collection is enhanced this year with two new versions featuring jet-black lacquered dials that contrast beautifully with a stainless steel case and bracelet, and a two-tone rose gold and steel aesthetic. Both come with a pink rubellite in the crown, providing the cherry on the cake!
Allegra
Last but not least, two new Allegra models are also being presented in the LVMH lineup. Featuring an array of different coloured gemstones cut into joyful shapes, these two new timepieces – one with pink sapphires and the other with yellow sapphires – look almost good enough to eat!
These colourful and precious new timepieces are the perfect way to bring good energy into 2023. We can’t think of a better way to kick off the horological new year than with a rainbow of sparkling colours!
