Get ready to be dazzled by Cartier’s latest horological creations! Here is a sneak peek of six of their new watches you don’t want to miss

Known for its rich history and commitment to innovation and creativity, Cartier is launching a plethora of timepieces at Watches and Wonders 2023, each with its unique features that showcase the brand’s impeccable artistry and attention to detail. Here are my six favorites!

Baignoire Yellow Gold Bangle

A testament to the brand’s “chic à la française” style, the latest oval Baignoire watch sees a change of scale and function, with the addition of a yellow gold bangle perfectly integrated into the case that can be comfortably closed around the wrist. Thanks to its signature curved style, the result is a hybrid, precious object that also makes for a stunning piece of jewelry. Also available in rose gold or fully paved, this sunlit gold timepiece is a true icon that has inspired women since the 1950s.

Tank Normale Skeleton

The esteemed Cartier Privé collection’s newest addition - the Tank Normale - pays tribute to one of the Maison’s most iconic models, which was created by Louis Cartier and first launched in 1919. Naturally, this eternally popular timepiece features the same codes and proportions as the original, but with an added innovative touch: it is powered by a skeleton movement and accompanied by a 24-hour complication marked by a sun and crescent moon. Available in limited editions, it is a marvel to behold.

Santos-Dumont Rose Gold

With its thin and refined details, the new Santos-Dumont watch stays true to the original 1904 model, but now beats with the specially developed 9629 MC automatic skeleton calibre, which took the Maison’s manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds almost two years to develop. As a wink to the aviator, it was named after, its rose gold case includes a miniaturized functional oscillating weight in the shape of a replica of the Demoiselle, a trailblazing plane designed by the pilot in 1907 - an inventive and narrative masterpiece that is both aesthetically and technically stunning!

La Panthère Yellow Gold

Fierce and masterful, the latest addition to the precious La Panthère collection features a bold sculptural panther head that closes its jaw on a black lacquer dial, the color of which mirrors its famous spots. Magnetic and seamless, its fully articulated and extremely flexible three-dimensional bracelet hugs the wrist, while the yellow gold speckled head with black lacquer stripes and tsavorite eyes captivates and captures the gaze. A dazzling blend of elegance and sophistication, packed with character and strength!

Tank Américaine Large Model

Inspired by the Tank Cintrée, the Tank Américaine is one of the brand’s hallmark icons with its curved case and the first adjustable strap adapted to the famous folding buckle, for which Cartier filed a patent in 1910. Its newest iterations are available in three sizes, of which the Large Model features the new 1899 MC Manufacture mechanical movement with automatic winding, whilst still retaining the visual characteristics that make the Maison’s watches so distinctive.

Clash (Un)limited Yellow Gold

Keeping the aesthetic heritage of the Clash collection while taking it a step further in a remarkable creative fusion, the new Clash Unlimited watch combines finesse with power. With its beveled dials, faceted corners and square and round elements, the jewelry watch explores and pushes its design in a daring and chic way. Using chromatic contrasts to emphasize the geometric motifs, alternating brushed and satin-finish gold, and combining yellow gold with a new in-house violet-colored gold, it is a brilliant addition to Cartier’s repertoire of elegance!
