There's Plenty Left in the Tank! - Cartier
Focus on Cartier's Tank Française

It’s a small step from a martial vehicle – a military tank flanked by its tracks – to the glamorous aura of the Tank watch. A step along the Parisian Alexandre III bridge on which Rami Malek and Catherine Deneuve meet up for director Guy Ritchie. In shooting the film accompanying the rebirth of the Tank Française, Cartier assembled a stellar cast to celebrate the “very French” elegance of this iconic model.

While the very first Tank watch dates back to 1917, the Tank Française was born in 1996, inaugurating a metal bracelet that is a perfect extension of the case lines. A slim cuff effect that is reinvented this year without losing an ounce of its style (French, of course!) through a new more radical design, with a streamlined and energetic aesthetic. Back to basics for this Tank Française, whose silhouette is stripped of all frills and available in seven steel and yellow gold references with or without diamonds and in quartz or automatic versions.
