Chanel unveils the black J12 Moonphase, a ladies' complication watch that combines elegance and technology.
The moon phase, a complex mechanism that displays the different phases of the moon, is the feminine star of complication watches.
Unlike classic moon phase watches where the phases appear through an aperture, those of the J12 Moonphase watch are displayed on a deep-blue sparkling aventurine disc. Positioned at 6 o’clock, the disc features the four main phases of the moon and is adorned with a little serpentine hand in polished steel.
A crescent moon shaped hand indicates the date. The J2 Moonphase features a 38 mm case and it is water-resistant up to 100 meters.
The set model shines with 54 diamonds (~1.42ct) on its bezel and 63 diamonds (~0.34 ct) on its black guilloché dial.
