The new high jewellery Hortensia collection by Chaumet includes a Tourbillon watch featuring a splendid Grand Feu enameled dial.
The 39,9mm case of the new Hortensia Tourbillon is made of 18K rhodium-plated white gold. The bezel and horns are set with 123 brilliant-cut diamonds (4.00cts), the case-sides are engraved by hand with hydrangea flowers pattern and set with 9 brilliant-cut diamonds (0.06ct). The crown, fluted, is engraved on the top with an hydrangea flower then enameled and set with 1 brilliant-cut diamond.
The white gold dial bears an Grand Feu enameled base. The applied hydrangea flowers are sculpted and hand-engraved then Grand Feu enameled in blue & purple tones, with silver foils on the center. The opening on the tourbillon cage is situated at 6.
The watch houses the manual-winding CP12V-IX Hublot Tourbillon 1000 caliber, for Chaumet. The backside plate and upper disc are specifically made with hydrangea shape. The watch displays hours and minutes and offers 120 hours of power reserve.
