True to its vision since its founding in 2010, namely the “Conquest of Innovation”, the Swiss firm Cyrus, with its in-house Manufacture in Le Locle, has never ceased to offer a kind watchmaking that challenges existing codes and stands out from the crowd. The latest model to date is the Klepcys DICE. Despite its name, this timepiece leaves nothing to chance. On the contrary, the acronym DICE has a specific meaning reflecting the precise side of time measurement: Double Independent Chronograph Evolution.
Why makes things simple when you can make them complicated?
Not to be confused with the split-seconds function, where the two hands measure the time of two events starting simultaneously yet ending at different times, the Klepcys DICE has a double chronograph that can calculate two short times, either synchronously or independently. This model developed by master watchmaker Jean- François Mojon is an evolution of the traditional chronograph. To ensure optimal and instantaneous readability of the two chronographs, one is blue and the other red.
A well-thought-out partnership
As Official Timekeeper and watch partner of the Haas Formula 1 Team, designing a timepiece with such a feature was an entirely natural step, as it is extremely useful for car drivers during qualifying phases, when they do not start their test race at the same time.
