Following the GMT and Moonphase models, here is a simpler yet classy watch in the Velocity collection.
The Velocity Gent watches, introduced at Baselworld 2013, are inspired by Zino’s love of classic sports cars. WorldTempus has already presented 2 models of this collection, the Gent Automatic GMT and the Gent Automatic Moonphase. The Gent Automatic Red Gold, through simpler, is nevertheless a much alluring timepiece.
The flowing lines echo the powerful, stylish and purposeful contours seen on the most desirable automobiles. Cases are modelled on bold, distinctive headlights, with unique side shapes that reflect iconic hood grills. The side shapes are inspired by the hood grills of the most magnificent sports cars.
The Gent Automatic Red Gold is embodied in a 40mm case, in stainless steel 316 L with red gold PVD finishing. The dial features two enlarged Roman numerals representing the numbers nine and three: these have been crafted in brushed metal. The watch is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement offering a 42-hour power reserve.
The watch is worn on a black leather strap, with folding buckle. But note that all of the Velocity Gent Automatic watches offer multiple bracelet options.
