20 years of de Grisogono celebrated at Fawaz Gruosi Birthday Bash in Porto Cervo.
On August 9th, the great and the good gathered together from the worlds of music, fashion, film and art in Porto Cervo’s Billionaire Club, to celebrate the birthday of de Grisogono's founder Fawaz Gruosias well as the brand’s 20th anniversary.
It certainly was a celebration of Fawaz Gruosi’s life, achievements and successes with the back drop of Porto Cervo’s sapphire hued Costa Smeralda.
As close family and friends pirouetted and swayed to the rhythms of the Evdokimov Show Theatre and hits by the Goldsingers, Fawaz Gruosi was stunned to receive a surprise gift from one of his guests, a serenade by “Chico” from the original Gypsy Kings.
Fawaz Gruosi commented, "I cannot tell you what a thoughtful gift that was - the Gypsy Kings were the first band to perform at my first party in Porto Cervo. It took me back over 10 years – and now I’m full of energy and looking forward to the next 10!”
Supermodel Irina Shayk, friend and loyal follower of the brand looked sublime in a pair of Gruosi's new high jewellery collection for the 20th anniversary earrings featuring one round-cut white diamond K VS1 (10.25 carats) and one round-cut white diamond J VVS1 (10.07 carats), and set with 2122 white diamonds (53.67 carats) surrounded by 795 rubies (4.44 carats) front and back, as well as a Tubetto ring set with 235 white diamonds.
