For Valentine's Day Eberhard & Co. dresses Gilda in precious stones
A cascade of diamonds, rubies and sapphires to celebrate the most romantic of events. For Valentine's day Eberhard & Co., in its 125th anniversary, pays tribute to women with two refined versions of Gilda dressed in precious stones, offering a new interpretation of elegance and style. Smooth and harmonic lines that recall the sinuous contours of flowers, as the blue and red of sapphires and rubies turn the ladies timepiece of the Bienne Maison into an authentic jewel.
The Floral version of Gilda presents a delicate blue sapphires decoration on the bezel that returns on the dial for a total of 59 stones, contrasting with the steel case and reflecting the blue stitching on the white alligator strap with branded “E&Co.” buckle.
In the version with 87 precious stones (44 rubies and 43 diamonds), the bezel becomes the corolla of a delicate flower in contrasting shades. There are two dial versions: mother-of-pearl white with finely stylised hands and Roman numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock, or satin white in the “coquille” version, with diamond set Roman numerals at V and XI, for a more sophisticated touch.
Through the use of light and sophisticated colours, Gilda expresses the charming femininity of the Eberhard & Co. woman.
