Housed in a stainless steel case with black PVD coating and measuring 40mm wide, the Challenger Cliff Black & Gold reimagines the mountain-inspired aesthetic of the collection with a sleek, dark makeover.
True to its name, the Challenger Cliff Black & Gold consists of an entirely black silhouette, with gold accents throughout. The dial is sandblasted with a gradient effect that darkens towards the edge. Surrounding the dial, the chapter ring features alternating matte and polished two-tone triangle that recall the jagged mountain peaks of the Alps. The applied Roman numerals and uniquely shaped hands are finished with a radiant gold tone and are filled with luminescent pigments to provide perfect legibility – day and night.
Visible through the display back of the case, the movement is the ETA-based automatic EC9316 mechanical calibre, which provides a power reserve of 38 hours and powers the hour, minute and second functions.
Befitting the watch’s ruggedness and singular design is the strap, made from black cordura fabric and fixed to a steel deployant clasp.
