The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) awards ceremony is eagerly anticipated each year by watch fans and industry professionals alike; this event pays tribute to creativity, with recognition awarded to timepieces in fifteen categories, chosen by an expert jury. The GPHG awards ceremony took place on November 10th, at the Théâtre du Léman, in Geneva. H. Moser & Cie. was awarded the prize for best Tourbillon with its Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton. Designed as a sculpture built around volumes and transparency, the aesthetic of this piece is stunning. A tourbillon of elegance and genuine work of art, it underscores the beauty of the 1-minute flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock, embodying the balance-spring expertise of H. Moser & Cie.'s sister company, Precision Engineering. All of this highly specialised expertise was required to produce the cylindrical balance-spring in the HMC 811 movement – something the members of the GPHG Jury and Academy perfectly understood and deeply appreciated.

Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie, and his brother Bertrand, CEO of MELB Luxe Subsidiaries, were particularly proud and happy to receive this prestigious award. Both thanked their families, as well as the teams, partners, collectors and friends who have supported them since the beginning of the adventure in 2012, when they took over H. Moser & Cie.: “For 10 years we have been building this brand and this is only the beginning. We've had our lows but also some great highs, and this award is definitely one. Today, we have the opportunity to thank all those who have believed in us and who have given us their trust. We are thinking in particular of our teams, especially those at Precision Engineering AG, who have done a remarkable job on the Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton. We dedicate this victory to all of them and will celebrate it together”.
