The case of th watch, made from solid 18ct Pd125 white gold, houses a dial - in white gold too - whose centre and domed cartouches feature an enamel miniature, realized using Petitot’s “point by point” technique (1630). Applied by individual spots, each particle finds its place in a tribute to the painting of Jean-Daniel Ihly “Genève, La Rade” (1890), coming together in exquisite harmony, which is given a timeless unalterable quality by firing.
The watch is animated by the in-house mechanical movement made from solid 18ct Pd125 white gold, hand-wound, hand-engraved and hand-decorated, and offering a power reserve of more than 55 hours. In a discreet window at 12 o'clock, an enamelled gold oil drop symbol will appear after four years in operation, when the watch must be serviced.
The watch is completed by a hand-stitched black alligator strap, lined with alligator, and equipped with a solid white gold buckle with engraved pictogram.
Suggested public price of the set including « Genève, la rade » the painting and the watch: 180'000 CHF HT.
