A descendant of the successful Calypso collection, Aikon is currently the Maison’s most emblematic collection and embodies the link between past and future. The Aikon Chronograph Skeleton is no exception because, in addition to its flat sapphire crystal in particular, this model is fitted with the Easychange fast-swap strap system and has a caliber endowed with Masterpiece complications, a type introduced last year in the Aikon collection.
With its skeleton structure, the Aikon Chronograph Skeleton joins the collection’s handful of skeleton watches and is indeed the brand’s first skeleton chronograph. The slimmer bezel, a new addition to the Aikon collection, ensures a clear view of the various levels composing the self-winding ML206 caliber. This reduction has the effect of presenting the six engraved rider-tabs as elements protecting the dial and generating a new graphic design that accentuates the depth of the watch. The 44mm case features three pushers, with a hexagonal base creating a new play on shapes. In addition to providing depth, the notched crown ensures a better grip during winding. The steel case reinforces the pared-down, graphic aesthetic of the timepiece.
