Mouawad A passion for diamonds

Mouawad’s new La Bijou Divine collection is a harmonious marriage between precious stones and watchmaking savoir-faire.

Watch brand Mouawad is introducing a new collection that gives pride of place to the eternal diamond. La Bijou Divine comes in four elegant and feminine models.

La Bijou Divine has a pure, elegant and feminine aesthetic. The four models in the collection, all in rose gold, have a 36 mm round case. In the two semi-jewelled cases the rose gold bezel is set with 57 diamonds, while the remaining two models have the bezel entirely paved with 161 diamonds. The crown, set with a diamond cabochon, is distinctively placed at 4 o’clock rather than the traditional 3 o’clock.

At the heart of the timepiece beats a high-precision quartz movement. The hours and minutes are indicated by two polished rose gold hands, and the baton hour markers are also in polished 5N gold. The dial, which features opaline silvered guillochage in a sunburst configuration, is typically Mouawad: understated and elegant.

On the back...
Nothing is left to chance. The entire timepiece has been designed and produced with the aim of bringing delight to the fairer sex. On the back of every La Bijou Divine model, Mouawad’s artisans have carefully engraved the name of the collection, enhanced with a delicate floral design.

Two models come with a hand-sewn white alligator strap, while the other two are fitted with a solid 5N rose gold bracelet. The alligator strap also features a rose gold pin buckle engraved with the traditional “M” for Mouawad. The 5N rose gold bracelet has a folding clasp that makes it easy to adjust to the wrist.

Only the finest diamonds have been selected to embellish the watches of the La Bijou Divine collection.

The brand

A passion for watchmaking has been passed down through the Mouawad family for several generations. This attachment is now rooted in the Franches-Montagnes district, where the family business still has its workshops. There, it designs timepieces based on the values the company has upheld for over a century: artistic excellence and impeccable manufacturing.
