Larry Boland, President of Piaget North America, cohosted a cocktail reception with Yue Sai Kan, honorary chair of Affinity China, at the Piaget Fifth Avenue Boutique. Also in attendance was Miss China, Zillion Luo (Roseline Luo), who was wearing the Piaget Limelight City timepiece in 18- carat white gold set with brilliant-cut diamonds and the Piaget Limelight Garden Party 18-carat white gold earrings set with brilliant-cut diamonds and white pearls. This affair was a highlight of New York Dragon Week, a weeklong series of exclusive events and experiences for Chinese travelers, which included a performance by world-renown pianist Lang Lang, and a lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building.
While enjoying champagne and cupcakes attendees were able to view the dazzling limited edition collection, which includes a Piaget Altiplano 38mm crafted in 18-carat white gold and set with 78 brilliant-cut diamonds and a Grand Feu enamel dial with a dragon representation on a gray alligator strap. Also featured was a Piaget Emperador XL in 18-carat rose gold, hand-engraved with a dragon design set with 257 brilliant-cut diamonds on a gray alligator strap.
