Focus on the RM 035-03 Automatique Rafael Nadal

While he has been wearing the RM 027 for years during tennis tournaments, Rafael Nadal has also agreed to play with the technical distillation of the RM 035 collection that bears his name and has been launched meanwhile. Representing the fourth generation of the line, the RM 035-03 Automatic Rafael Nadal is equipped with the butterfly rotor, a patented innovation that required three years of R&D. The wearer can adjust the geometry of the rotor and adapt the winding of the movement to his lifestyle and activities (normal or sport mode), without the intervention of a watchmaker. Thanks to the pusher at 7 o’clock, he activates the independent gear train linked to the two titanium arms surmounted by heavy metal weight segments composing the rotor. “Much like a driver who adapts the behavior of his car to urban use, or on the track by activating sport mode”, explains technical director Salvador Arbona. The watchmaking ‘speed machine’ shows off its skeletonized engine on both sides of the TPT® Carbon case and the TPT® Quartz, available in two versions of white, blue and gray.
