Prize draw rules | WorldTempus, GPHG 2026

Article 1: Organizer

The company GMT Publishing SA, CHE-104.320.562, 23 rue des Vollandes, 1207 Geneva, Switzerland (hereinafter « the Organizer »), publisher of WorldTempus, is organizing a free contest with no purchase necessary on the occasion of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) 2026.

Article 2: Purpose and duration of the operation

The contest consists of voting for a favourite watch in each of the « Sport » and « Gemset » categories among the GPHG 2026 finalist watches. Voting is open until 6 November 2026 at 12:00 pm (CET) inclusive. The prize draw takes place after this closing date, and at the earliest after the official announcement of the GPHG 2026 results.

This contest is an independent editorial initiative by WorldTempus. Participants' votes have no influence whatsoever on the official GPHG awards, which are decided by the GPHG Academy.

Article 3: Conditions of participation

Participation is entirely free and does not involve any obligation to purchase. It is open to any adult natural person under the law of their country of residence. Staff of GMT Publishing SA and of companies within the group, as well as members of their household, are excluded from participation. Only one entry is accepted per person, identified by a unique e-mail address.

Article 4: How to participate

To participate, entrants must vote for a watch in each of the two categories open to voting, then provide their first name, last name, country and a valid e-mail address, and accept these official rules. Incomplete, fraudulent, illegible or multiple entries may be disqualified without notice.

Article 5: Prize offered

The prize at stake is a Reuge music box, « Little Skull » model, with an indicative value of CHF 890.-. A single prize is awarded for the whole operation.

Article 6: Selection of the winner

The winner is selected by prize draw among all valid and complete entries, under the Organizer's supervision. As the prize is shipped exclusively within Switzerland, the prize draw is limited to participants residing in Switzerland, due to customs constraints linked to shipping outside Swiss territory. The winner is notified personally by e-mail, at the address provided upon entry.

Article 7: Prize delivery

The winner has 5 calendar days from the sending of the notification to reply and confirm their details. After this period, if no reply is received, the Organizer reserves the right to carry out a new prize draw among the other valid entries. The prize is then considered permanently forfeited by the original winner.

The prize is shipped by post, exclusively within Switzerland, to the address provided beforehand by the winner when confirming their entry. It may not be exchanged, converted into cash, or transferred to a third party.

Article 8: Personal data protection

The data collected is processed by the Organizer, as data controller, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It is used for the purposes of managing the operation and delivering prizes, as well as, subject to separate consent, sending the WorldTempus newsletter. The legal basis for processing is consent. Data is kept for 12 months, then deleted or anonymized. Each participant has a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, which may be exercised by contacting support@gmtpublishing.com. Signing up for the newsletter is subject to separate consent and is in no way a condition of participation.

Article 9: Liability and force majeure

The Organizer cannot be held liable for network malfunctions, losses, delays or damage in transit, nor for any damage beyond its control. It reserves the right to shorten, extend, modify, suspend or cancel the operation should circumstances require it, in particular in the event of force majeure, without its liability being engaged as a result.

GMT Publishing SA disclaims all liability regarding the proper functioning of the prize once delivered. For any technical or warranty questions relating to the product, the winner is invited to contact the manufacturer, Reuge, directly.

Article 10: Acceptance of the rules

Participation in the contest implies full and unreserved acceptance of these official rules.

Article 11: Governing law and jurisdiction

These official rules are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva, subject to the mandatory consumer-protection provisions applicable at the participant's place of residence.
