Jacob & Co. sponsors the Société Nautique de Genève’s White Evening.

Every year for the past 12 years, the biggest social event on the Société Nautique de Genève’s calendar is the White Evening. This year, Jacob & Co. was the main sponsor of the event, exposing the high watchmaking and high jewelry brand to a key segment of Geneva society with great success.

“This is the flagship event for the entire year,” says Tina Bezzola, president of the events committee for the Société Nautique de Genève, which has almost 4,000 members. “The whole club is booked for the party.”

“The purpose of the White Evening is to have an elegant, fun and casual gathering,” adds Bezzola. “It's chic but not super dressy, and members can invite guests, so people have the opportunity to discover our club.”

For Jacob & Co., it was a chance to introduce the brand, which has headquarters in New York City and Geneva, to Swiss customers. Showcases featuring the incredible watches and jewelry were set up around the club and guests were invited to discover watches like the new Mystery Tourbillon featuring two triple axis tourbillons back to back in the center of two invisibly set mystery dials and the $1.5 million Astronomia Imperial Dragon, a unique piece featuring a hand-engraved and hand-painted 18K rose gold dragon that was shown in public for the very first time.
