The three watches from Jacob & Co. that have been preselected by the jury of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève for inclusion in the watch industry’s “Academy Awards” are: the Fleurs de Jardin, for Ladies Complication, the Astronomia Dragon, for Artistic Crafts and the Mystery Tourbillon, for Jewelry.
“I am very proud that three Jacob & Co. watches have been chosen for the Grand Prix competition,” says Jacob & Co.’s founder, Jacob Arabo. “This validates the direction in which my team and I are moving, focusing on exceptional pieces and high complications that the watchmaking world has never seen before. Being nominated is just the first step, and we are keeping our fingers crossed for the awards in November. Many thanks to the GPHG for this honor.”
The pre-selection timepieces in each category are chosen from hundreds of submissions from brands in every segment of the watch industry.
The winners will be announced on November 7, 2019 at the GPHG awards ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland.
