Spain: The art of cameo carving seduces Puerto Banús.
Last week, the Tourbillon Boutique invited visitors of the Puerto Banús Marina to discover the art of cameo carving. This fine craft has been in existence since the Antiquity and requires a great deal finesse which enhances the timepieces and jewelry of Breguet. It is originated from Torre del Greco in the region of Naples, which is also where the craftsmen of the Maison are established.
It seemed only fitting, therefore to have an engraver from the South of Italy to Marbella to share his art with the guests by doing an exclusive demonstration. During the evening guests were also entertained by a highly talented cellist who came to interpret several classical melodies.
