Rolf-Göran Bengtsson won the Longines Global Champions Tour 2016 after a final full of suspense in Doha.

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson clinched a double victory in Qatar this weekend. He won the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Doha, followed by Daniel Deusser and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, and he was also crowned winner of the Longines Global Champions Tour 2016. The Swedish rider scored 283 points, while Edwina Tops-Alexander arrived second and Christian Ahlmann third with 267 and 239 points, respectively.

Longines is the Title Partner, the Official Timekeeper and the Official Watch of this international circuit, which began in April in Miami and includes 15 legs in 15 different cities.

The Longines Global Champions Tour of Doha was held in the impressive Al Shaqab Equestrian Centre. This first-class facility offered the perfect opportunity to discover the Official Watch of the event, a model of the Longines DolceVita collection. This year, the brand introduced new variations using gold and steel that remain decidedly feminine and glamorous. With its steel case, the Official Watch of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Doha is set with diamonds and features a solid rose gold crown.
