TAG Heuer is the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the 2016 TCS New York City Marathon, which marks the third year of the partnership between the Swiss luxury sports brand and the world’s biggest marathon race.

Tag Heuer built a team of social media influencers who exemplified the "Don't Crack Under Pressure" mindset to train for and run in the marathon. The team was comprised of Nick Bateman a model, actor and martial artist, Emily Jackson, founder of The Ivory Lane lifestyle blog, and photographers Chris Ozer and Tyson Wheatley. Each team member documented their training regimen and preparations for the competition. These social media stars shared their training journey and showcased TAG Heuer’s brand values of determination, focus and breaking boundaries, generating roughly 100 million social media impressions. The social media influencers were joined by global friend of the brand and athlete, Josef Ajram.

TAG Heuer presented the Connected Watch to six winners of the competition: the men’s, women’s, men’s wheelchair and women’s wheelchair champions, and for the first time, awarded watches to the top male and female American finishers.
The Connected Watch is equipped with RaceChrono Pro, wind and weather monitoring capabilities, and Google Fit, making it the perfect accessory for running any distance.
TAG Heuer’s continued partnership with the New York City Marathon demonstrates the brand’s commitment to marathon running and competitive racing worldwide. In addition to the New York City marathon, TAG Heuer acts as the official timekeeper for other top marathons including the World Marathon Majors Six Race Series in Chicago, London and Berlin, in addition to Paris and Moscow.
