This video illustrates the Art of Fusion, a concept that has made Hublot one of the most innovative brands in the watchmaking market.

Hublot's story began with this motto back in 1980, being the first watch brand to combine gold with natural rubber.
Jean-Claude Biver, current Chairman of Hublot and President of the LVMH Group Watch Division, and Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, hold the ‘The Art of Fusion’ motto at the heart of the brand and this now guides the actions, innovations, developments and partnerships, blending the past and the future, the tradition and the innovation.

The "Art of Fusion” lays in the combination of materials to obtain patented materials like the "Magic Gold" created by the revolutionary fusion of 24-carat gold and ceramic which is now produced at Hublot’s high-tech foundry at the Nyon Manufacture.


 

The brand

From the outset, Hublot has embodied design and innovation that differ markedly from the established watchmaking order. With the impetus provided by Jean-Claude Biver, by 2004 these values had already become the basis of a new DNA, leading the brand to develop particularly audacious timepieces – most of them with a highly-developed sporting aspect.
