Starting from the years in which he played in the American Hockey League, Alexandre Giroux has always distinguished himself as one of the most representative players: he has taken part in 889 games, totalling 807 points (420 goals and 387 assists), almost one point per match. The main recognitions that are worthy of note are his regular presence in the AHL all star team (seasons 06/07, 08/09, 10/11), a mention as top scorer of the AHL (08/09, 09/10 both with 69 goals per season) and the greatest number of seasonal points, also in AHL (08/09 with 97 points)
Giroux’s performance has been equally impressive in the swiss NLA: since 2013 he has worn the white and blue shirt of the Hockey Club Ambrì Piotta, where he has amply proved himself as a top-quality player with a consistent performance.
