Bovet 1822 - Green is the 2020 color of the year

Bovet 1822 Green is the 2020 color of the year

Miss Audrey, the smallest, slimmest and lightest watch in the Fleurier collection.

A symbol of hope, green is the color of 2020 at Bovet. Housed in the Amadéo Fleurier case serving to convert it into a wristwatch, table clock or pendant, Miss Audrey adopts green for the translucent lacquer coating the finely guilloché dial; for the alligator leather or synthetic satin straps; and, as an alternative to the Maison’s cubic-link metal chain, for the splendid specially created jade pearl sautoir necklace. Green is also the color of Nature standing for ecology. Now, what could be more ecological than a mechanical movement that is naturally wound throughout its lifespan lasting decades or even centuries ? Miss Audrey, the smallest, slimmest and lightest watch in the Fleurier collection, appeared decked out in dazzling feminine finery – with 103 diamonds set on the bezel and bow and four on the dial – framing a gracefully curvaceous yet minimalist display. Despite this particularly precious jewelry interpretation, it remains a creation worthy of the grand Swiss watchmaking tradition, and in particular of the expertise faithfully cultivated by Bovet.
