On 2nd December 1971 the six emirates of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah and Umm al-Quwain agreed to unite as the United Arab Emirates. One year later, a seventh emirate - Ras Al Khamaih, joined the union. This significant date has been celebrated every year as a national holiday. To coincide with the 45th anniversary of the United Arab Emirates, Kerbedanz has launched a limited edition of 45 pieces with a dial bearing the flag of the nation and the portraits of its seven rulers.
The watch is powered by the self-winding KRB-03 calibre, which is designed, manufactured and decorated by Kerbedanz and has 120 hours of power reserve. The case is in 18-carat white gold and is water resistant to 50 ATM. A dial in grand feu enamel built of three layers and with a guilloché and hand-decorated finish, pays a colourful tribute to the anniversary of the gulf nation.
This limited edition of 45 watches is available for pre-order from the Kerbedanz website.
