In 2012, Perrelet designed its own 100% Swiss-made calibre -the Alternance 10 (A10)- which is now used to power all of the timepieces from the Turbine collection. The Turbine Helvetia honours this calibre with two models, a men's version and a feminine version.
The feminine model features a 38 mm diamond-set steel case, nestled on straps in matching colours. Red top-stitching discreetly echoes the colour of the dial. The movement, visible through the sapphire crystal case back, is decorated with traditional Côtes de Genève. The 12-blade turbine rotating freely over the dial plays with optical effects to suggest a white cross floating above the Swiss-red background.
