Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of Hublot, and Yann Borgstedt, founder of Smiling Children, today announced their partnership: the watch manufacturer has committed to support the projects of the Foundation, whose objective is to help young girls and women in Morocco and Afghanistan. In the presence of Cherie Blair, patron of the Foundation, renowned lawyer and specialist in the defence of
human rights, they explained what has brought them together and how Hublot contributes to the work of Smiling Children. On this occasion, Mr Biver unveiled a new Big Bang, a special 38 mm diameter design, part of the sale revenues of which will be donated to the Foundation.
From the outset, Hublot has embodied design and innovation that differ markedly from the established watchmaking order. With the impetus provided by Jean-Claude Biver, by 2004 these values had already become the basis of a new DNA, leading the brand, which is currently headed by Ricardo Guadalupe - its CEO since 2012, to develop particularly audacious timepieces – most of them with a highly-developed sporting aspect.Find out more >
