In 2008, the horological company Aerowatch SA was presenting its collection Rennaissance to the public for the first time. Following the success encountered by this new line, the family owned company decided to reinforce it with the creation of a new mechanical time-keeper of an enlarged size.
Differencing itself from other brands willing to propose « concept watches » always more complicated and more expensive; Aerowatch, proposes a classical watch indicating hour, minute and second without any extras with its Large Mechanical Rennaissance model, perfection in simplicity.
The steel case with a diameter of 45.00 mm, is assembled with a domed sapphire crystal. The antique hands as well as the white lacquered dial with Roman numerals are inspired by the archetypes of pocket watches of the 1960's.
For this new realisation, Aerowatch uses a mechanical hand-winding movement embellished with an engraved guilloche pattern made by hand, along with blued steel screws made visible through a transparent case back.
Fitting this model is a coffee brown colour strap with a personalised folding clasp, keeping your time-keeper secured on your wrist.
