We are offering not one, but two unique Anonimo Militare models

When we launched our very first exclusive series of just five unique pieces last year in celebration of the 15th anniversary of WorldTempus, the Anonimo Militare was sold less than an hour after we sent out the newsletter announcing the news. Given that we had never attempted anything even remotely like this before, we were impressed. It seemed that our readers were not only interested in buying watches, but they were true connoisseurs.

Anonimo celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and made a name for itself as the first watch brand to offer a watch made of bronze, a trend that has emerged with other brands only in the last few years. As well as being the precursor for this trend, Anonimo can also claim an unparalleled legitimacy for its use, given the brand’s origins in Florence, the home of Italy’s recognised excellence in early diving aids, many of which were produced in bronze.

Anonimo Militare Unique Piece

Anonimo kindly agreed to design not one but two unique pieces for WorldTempus, both in the Militare collection, which has a distinctive large case with oversized double-digit Arabic hour numerals at 12, 4 and 8, as well as a small seconds counter at 3 o’clock and a date at 9. A solitary figure 16 in the small seconds counter and a red 16 in the date window single these pieces out as unique. But the Anonimo models are also the only ones in our collection of 13 unique pieces to come with a bespoke strap, with a hot-stamped “WT 16” inscription and contrasting red stitching. This is an added bonus for a watch whose Italian made straps are as noted for their quality as the watch itself.

Anonimo Militare Unique Piece

The unique Anonimo Militare models for WorldTempus are available with a choice of black or blue dial and a matching strap. Both have the distinctive “lightning strike” brushed effect on the dial, a brushed bronze case and the crown at 12 o’clock with Anonimo’s distinctive crown protector. They are powered by the Sellita SW260-1 self-winding mechanical movement, which operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers 38 hours of power reserve.

Anyone interested in purchasing this unique watch should send an email to WorldTempus’s director, Brice Lechevalier (brice.lechevalier@worldtempus.com), co-creator of this one-of-a-kind model and your personal contact for all requests.
