Bolstered by its new momentum, Baume & Mercier is offering a contemporary interpretation of two of its most celebrated collections, the Capeland and Linea, along with new and more stylish examples of Classima, and a new design policy signed seaside living. 

Each watch is engraved with the Greek letter Phi, a symbol of balance and perfection and a sign of recognition among Baume & Mercier connoisseurs, a “worldwide family” united by the same generous and relaxed vision of life.

A man, a boat, the horizon…certain watches exist whose universe is clear at first glance: Capeland is a perfect example. With its sport-chic design, retro accents and warm tones, it is an invitation to wander, a symbol of the connecting line between a man and his dreams.

 

Spotlight on the emblematic piecesA point of pride within the Capeland collection, these emblematic watches come equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement with a flyback chronograph function. This Bi-compax movement, manufactured by Lajoux-Perret, is enriched with blued steel screws and a circular-grained  finish for the plate and the bridges. Its sapphire crystal case back enables a view of the oscillating weight engraved with the brand's emblematic Phi, further adorned with “Côtes de Genève” and snailed décor.

These exceptional watches distinguish themselves by a “chevé” crystal, a domed dial in retro colors, and “Breguet” type hands. Offered in two versions: stainless steel or 18 ct. red gold which shimmers like antique copper, these models come with a dark brown or black alligator skin strap which gives them a final touch of sophistication.
