Organised by C.A.M.E.P. ETS APS, the event is included in the FIVA calendar and in the prestigious ASI Circuito Tricolore series, and is reserved for historic cars built up to 1965.
The 2026 edition welcomed around 80 crews from all over the world. For the occasion, vintage cars took part in a tour through some of the most evocative locations in Umbria and neighbouring regions, combining motoring passion with the discovery of the local territory.
The 2026 edition featured many new highlights, including prestigious cars and distinguished guests. Among them were two-time World Rally Champion Miki Biasion, Brand Ambassador of Eberhard & Co., and collectors Corrado Lopresto and John Gillett, who were honoured for adding further prestige to the event thanks to the presence of two extraordinarily historic vehicles: a 1934 Lancia Augusta Berlina Lusso, winner of the 1936 Targa Florio, and the last surviving example of the only 33 MG K3 Magnette models produced in 1933, formerly owned by Prince Bira of Siam and driven by the Australian crew Gillett/Whiteside.
The event began on Thursday, May 7, in Corciano, with the start of the tour and the first skill trials, followed by a visit to the Abbey of Montecorona. On Friday, May 8, the crews moved to the Cascia area for another day of driving and competitions, culminating in a gala dinner at Tenuta Montenero. Saturday, May 9, was dedicated to the Tenute del Cerro estate near Montepulciano, with further skill trials throughout the day. In the evening, participants returned to Perugia for the traditional parade along Corso Vannucci, in the heart of the city.
On Sunday, May 10, the crews gathered in San Sisto at the premises of Bartoccini, official retailer of Eberhard & Co. From there, the historic re-enactment and related skill trial got underway, concluding at the Nestlé Perugina facilities, followed by the awards ceremony.
The overall Coppa della Perugina victory went to the 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider driven by Boschetti/Tomasi, while the Historic Re-enactment category, reserved for open-top cars built before 1940, was won by the Bugatti Type 37 A of Piantelli/Montaldi. Eberhard & Co. awarded the winners of both categories with its chronographs, expressions of the Maison's excellence and sporting spirit.
