Let us leap into the past once again, in order to improve our understanding. Nobody could have predicted it, and nobody could have jeopardized the plans of the young king, who lived in barren lands, reigned over nations who only drank water, was honest beyond compare, and could not even imagine the wealth he was to obtain. Perhaps the young king would appreciate his plan more if he was familiar with the renowned Delphic oracle where Pythia foretold the downfall of the great kingdom. Croesus, king of this kingdom called Lydia, made the mistake of attacking Cyrus and thus ended his reign over the kingdom; consequentially, a new kingdom was on the rise. The prophecy came true. Nothing could threaten Cyrus's ascent to power. If Pythia from the Delphic oracle was still alive, she would probably describe the KUROS collection as follows:

The first one, the son of the Sea and the Earth, mistress of the Sun, will bear the wind of life and will spring like a flame which will burn brightly and whose reflection will be seen across the world.

From their cooperation, a unique watch collection will be born, and Cyrus THE GREAT will rise again. " The design of the KUROS collection does not aim to mimic neither reinvent. It represents the necessary development, a diversion from the conformism of the current era.
Its original design makes one long for the future and is the result of years of work and research. The case design takes us back to the past and to the future, keeping one uncertain whether the shape is derived from an Egyptian scarab or a futuristic car. Every person sees it as a symbol which reflects their expectations, dreams, and hopes, as well as a call to the harmonious coexistence of the watch, the guardian of time, and its owner.
The design fits the wrist perfectly – so perfectly that the watch seems subject to its conqueror. This subordination is a sign of respect and durability. Man is therefore master of his time.
Thanks to the distinctive crown guard, the watch and its modern and innovatively designed crocodile leather or rubber band stay firmly in place on the wrist. The sense of durability and harmony is aroused by the aesthetic and attractive shapes. The feeling of globality and natural energy circulation of the watch is additionally strengthened by the folding clasp which completes the design. To put it plainly, it completes the circle.
The KUROS collection leaves nothing to chance. The watch displays hours, minutes, seconds, and the date (in the Cyrus font), and it is also equipped with a chronograph function. The face is fitted with three-dimensional hands (3D) and an easy-read function. In a single glance, you can read the time at night or during the day (the hands are treated with Super-LumiNova), while a special hand, which can measure time up to or down from 4 hours and 30 minutes, enables the exact reading of hours and minutes in the chronograph function.
This hand is an important detail as it accurately mimics the shape of the three-part logo which is also found on the crowns, faces, and screws at the back. The bottom of the watch face is the result of precise and careful work. It mimics the shape of similar triangles. The three angles of the triangles resemble the three parts of the Cyrus brand logo. An attentive observer is sure to notice the crown next to the figure 9 and ponder on its purpose. In the end, the crown was added with the purpose of creating balance, and especially to remind the user of the limited series, and reveal the watch number..
By moving the crown to the left, the serial number of your watch is disclosed mysteriously on the plate fitted at the base. An individual series is limited to only 188 watches. If you are fond of secrets, the back of the case is sure to stir your emotions ... The mechanism is well hidden though the quality and excellent manufacture. The selection was guided by the desire to keep the heart of the collection visible, the perishing of time itself – as well as the mysterious, over 2,500-year-old coin.
The case back of every KUROS collection watch made of a gold and titanium alloy contains an identical copy of a more than 2,500-year-old COIN, fashioned during the reign of CYRUS. Today, the original is owned by the founders of the Cyrus watchmaking brand in Switzerland. The COIN is a remnant of the first currency in the world; thus, it bears a great historic as well as financial value. All gold Cyrus watches bear the imprint of this very COIN (5N) containing the images of a lion and a bull, the indisputable symbols of authority during the reign of Cyrus.
Every titanium product from the KUROS collection is engraved with a special message for the owner, either on the coin or around the trademark logo:

KUROS collection products are available in exclusively designed presentation cases. These are beautiful cases manufactured in the heart of Switzerland in a traditional carpentry shop by carpenters inspired by the very watches. There really is no room for coincidence in the elaboration of this collection. Each presentation case also contains a spare rubber (smooth or grooved) or crocodile leather band.
