Jeremy Lee Renner is an American actor and singer. Throughout the 2000s, Renner appeared largely in independent films such as Dahmer and Neo Ned. He also appeared in supporting roles in bigger films such as S.W.A.T. and 28 Weeks Later. He then turned in a much-praised performance in The Town, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Renner is best known for his roles in The Hurt Locker for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, and for playing Clint Barton / Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Thor, Marvel's The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War. He also appeared in commercially successful films such as Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, The Bourne Legacy, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, American Hustle, and Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation.

Jeremy Renner, Miguel Bosé and Alessandro Preziosi received a Clifton Taormina Limited Edition Watch. This model has been designed to celebrate the art of film – the 39 mm 18K red gold case is enhanced by the sapphire case back adorned with the festival’s logo, while the design of its minuterie track is reminiscent of a film reel. It has been produced in a series of 62 pieces to celebrate the 62nd edition of the Festival and is available from June 2016, exclusively in Italy.
And at the closing ceremony of the 62° edition of TaorminaFilmFest on Saturday 18th of June, Alain Zimmermann, CEO of Baume & Mercier also offered the “Promesse Taormina Award” to the Italian actress, TV host and singer Ambra Angiolini.
