Baume & Mercier will be the Main Sponsor of the 62nd Taormina Film Festival edition, to be held from June 11th to 18th in the ancient theater of Taormina in Sicily. Richard Gere will be the Honorary President of the Festival.
Baume & Mercier is supporting #HomelessZero, a project dedicated to the homeless, for whom the actor has been passionate spokesperson for years.
On June 8th at the American Embassy in Rome, Alain Zimmermann, CEO of Baume & Mercier, presented Richard Gere, at the preview screening of the movie "Time Out Of Mind", the limited edition watch "Clifton Taormina Award" which will be auctioned on June 11th during the opening night of the 62nd edition of the TaorminaFilmFest. The proceeds will go to Federazione Fio.Psd (the Italian Federation of Organisations for Homeless people).
