The Formula 1 legend joins Tag Heuer to celebrate Jack Heuer's 80th birthday at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Press release

TAG Heuer was joined this weekend by Formula 1 legend Alain Prost, who attended the Festival for the very first time to celebrate the 80th birthday of the company's Honorary Chairman Jack Heuer.

As part of his ambassadorial role with TAG Heuer, Prost unveiled a unique photographic exhibition dedicated to his remarkable career as a racing driver, a career which included 51 victories, 33 pole positions and 106 podium finishes between 1980 and 1993. The exhibition, which had been curated with Lord March, showcased 100 images – many unseen – ranging from the candid to the posed, and illustrating the sheer agony and ecstasy Prost experienced during one of the most thrilling and dangerous eras of Formula 1 racing.

TAG Heuer also used the Festival to unveil the Carrera Calibre 17 Jack Heuer 80th Birthday Limited Edition 41mm chronograph. The special edition model was unveiled alongside the all-new ‘Speed' Collection, consisting of three Carrera models designed exclusively for the UK.
