VIP guests discovered the art of engraving during workshops in Ningbo.
Further to the success of the first events dedicated to engraving in China which took place in Beijing, Shanghai and Changchun, Breguet recently honored this art in Ningbo. Twenty VIP guests were invited to two workshops in order to try this meticulous technique, supervised by professional engravers.
Numerous Breguet timepieces are adorned with engraved motifs, including the Reine de Naples Sonnerie au Passage watch. This Grande Complication is provided with an entirely carved movement. The bridges and the oscillating weight, delicately decorated in that fashion, showcase a dove in full flight that can be admired at the back of the watch through a sapphire-crystal caseback.
